Knowledge, Perception, and attitude towards medical ethics among undergraduate medical students at Jouf University, Saudi Arabia

Objectives: This study aimed to assess knowledge, perception, and attitude towards medical ethics among undergraduate students at College of Medicine,Jouf University (COMJU), Kingdom Saudi Arabia (KSA). Material Methods: A cross-sectional was conducted on a convenience sample 118 Jouf University, KSA using self-administered questionnaire that included section I (Basic demographic characteristics), II (Knowledge about ethics), III (Perception attitudes different aspects ethics). Descriptive analysis carried out. Results: More than two-thirds the participating were knowledgeable ethics. Despite that, half them did not consider confidentiality as fundamental issue in ethics, more accepted physician could ignore patient’s privacy. About 78.2 % believed health practitioners must comply with their profession. Nearly 75.5 respondents specialized Committee should be present college set ethical rules. Interestingly, 71.7 declared there is necessity incorporating into an curriculum.
